C&W to Manage Atlanta Office Campus
The Ardent Cos. picked Cushman & Wakefield to manage The Fountains, a Class A portfolio located within Piedmont Center in Buckhead.

The Ardent Cos. has selected Cushman & Wakefield to manage The Fountains, a four-building office campus in Uptown Atlanta. The 550,166-square-foot Class A complex is situated within Piedmont Center, a 52-acre business park in Atlanta’s Buckhead submarket.

Laurie Harper, director of asset services at C&W, will spearhead the team in charge of the campus’ management. “This is the first property we are managing on Ardent’s behalf, and by focusing on a seamless transitional period, I am confident we will partner with them on many properties to come,” said Harper in prepared remarks.
Undergoing renovations
The Fountains’ four buildings are undergoing renovations, the list of upgrades including upgraded fitness and conference centers, a bike rental service, additional seating and shading in the courtyard, updated signage and wayfinding, as well as lobby improvements.
Cushman & Wakefield is also responsible for the management of Piedmont Center buildings 1-4 and 15, owned by The Ardent Cos. The five-building portfolio—owned by Northwestern Mutual Real Estate Investors until recently—totals 823,566 square feet and has been under C&W management since 2012.
Cushman & Wakefield has also recently landed management and leasing responsibilities for 271 17th St., a trophy office tower located in Midtown Atlanta.
