C&W Adds 3 Tenants to Ft. Lauderdale Office Building

Cushman & Wakefield has arranged a series of new leases at BayView Corporate Tower, a 412,520-square-foot office building in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The new tenants will occupy a total of approximately 20,000 square feet at the Class A property.

Located at 6451 N. Federal Highway, BayView Corporate Tower recently underwent a $5 million repositioning program that included a roof replacement, upgrades to the entryway, lobby, common areas as well as new landscaping. Owner BRIDGE Investment Group also implemented a new co-working space that features a fitness center, tenant lounge, conference center, café and game area.

Diverse tenancy

Executive Director Deanna Lobinsky and Associate Chase Kulp represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. The new additions to BayView Corporate Tower’s tenant base are:

• Rissman, Barrett, Hurt, Donahue, McLain & Mangan P.A. with 14,559 square feet;
• Pierson Grant Public Relations Inc. with 3,757 square feet;
• Webb-Mason Inc. with 1,467 square feet.

“These three new leases show a strong demand for collaborative, highly amenitized environments from office tenants in the South Florida market,” Lobinsky said in a prepared statement.

Other notable tenants include CHG Healthcare Services, Whole Foods and EnvisionRX. The team of Lobinsky and Kulp have spearheaded leasing efforts at the property since July 2014, under previous ownership. According to Yardi Matrix, BRIDGE acquired the asset for $53.6 million from New Boston Fund in September 2016.

“The recent renovations and modern amenities have helped increase our leasing momentum,” added Kelly Kuykendall, acquisitions director with BRIDGE Investment Group. “The strategic repositioning of this asset is directly in-line with our investment plan and we are excited to welcome these new tenants to BayView Corporate Tower.”

The property is within walking distance of numerous dining and retail venues along North Federal Highway. BayView Corporate Tower is proximate to several luxury residential developments and provides convenient access to the South Florida region via interstates 95 and 595 and Florida’s Turnpike.
