Custom Home Builder Wayne Homes Appoints VP of Finance

Uniontown, Ohio—Wayne Homes, an Ohio-based custom home builder which specializes in affordable units, just announced the promotion of Todd Brown as vice president of finance.

Brown has served Wayne Homes as controller for more than 11 years, having joined the company at the beginning of 2005. Previously, he worked almost ten years as controller & financial analyst for the Akron, Ohio-headquartered Myers Industries. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Kent State University. Apart from being a Wayne Homes employee, Brown was also a client of the company, having built his own home in 2014.

“Todd has been an integral part of our senior leadership team for the past few years. His knowledge and expertise have been extremely valuable in running our business,” said George Murphy, president & CEO of Wayne Homes, in prepared remarks.

Ohio-based Wayne Homes is a custom home builder specialized in the On-Your-Lot niche and is present in five states: Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan, and West Virginia. The company has been operating for more than 40 years and currently boasts 16 model centers in its operating states.
