“We see strategic opportunity in enhancing our capacity for acquisitions, and Bobby’s skills and character make him a perfect cultural fit for our team,” said Tim Sittema, managing partner of Crosland Southeast. “We’re excited about what Bobby’s experience brings to the team and see great potential for growth leveraging our retailer relationships with our expertise in redeveloping shopping centers.”

In his new role as vice president of acquisitions, Bobby Speir will be in charge of sourcing, underwriting and managing acquisition opportunities for the company in the southeastern U.S., especially in markets with high barrier to entry that meet target demographic levels. Bobby Speir previously served as lead fund manager of UNC Kenan-Flagler’s real estate private equity fund.

Along with Bobby Speir, Crosland Southeast hired a new director of finance and accounting to expand its financial oversight and strategy. Stephanie Repak will be responsible of day-to-day operations of the company’s financial organization, including asset management of new acquisitions.
