Courtyard by Marriott Debuts in Ruston

Ruston, La.—Marriott has announced the opening of its latest property in Louisiana, Courtyard by Marriott Ruston. The new hotel, owned by Ruston, La.-based Going Yard LLC and managed by Natchitoches, La.-based Dimension Development Co., will operate under the Marriott franchise.

Located at 1309 Maxwell Blvd., the 110-key hotel offers convenient access to Railroad Park, Louisiana Tech University and Lincoln Parish Park. The four-story Marriott features an outdoor swimming pool, outdoor seating area with fire pit, fitness center and three meeting rooms totaling 3,725 square feet.

Courtyard’s new room design offers flexible and comfortable spaces, while signature furniture and architectural elements replace traditional art. Additional features include a light desk on wheels that allows guests to work from anywhere in the room, and an improved layout makes bathrooms more spacious, as well. The hotel also boasts the Refreshing Business lobby environment, a common space where guests have access to complimentary Wi-Fi and a variety of seating zones.
