Colocation Northwest Inks 7mW in Seattle Metro
Centeris' SH1 facility is a LEED Gold certified building, offering over 40mW of total IT capacity. Colocation Northwest leased seven megawatts at the Puyallup, Wash. site.

Colocation Northwest expands into the Puget Sound region, signing a lease for seven megawatts of mission-critical IT capacity in Centeris’ South Hill data center campus. The company stated that increasing customer demand for scalable colocation and disaster recovery services drove it to the Seattle region.
“We look forward to bringing our vision for scalable, fully managed colocation solutions and integration to a new level. Our commitment to Centeris allows us to offer the same customer-focused colocation services we’ve given customers for over 25 years, to the enterprise and wholesale markets,” said Stephen Milton, co-founder & CEO of Colocation Northwest, in a prepared statement.
Robust service and security
Centeris’ SH1 facility is located at 1023 39th Ave. in Puyallup, Wash. It is a green power data center and is LEED Gold certified. It offers 42.5 megawatts of total IT capacity, with independent power substations located on-site. The carrier-neutral facility has access to Comcast, Century Link, Zayo, Verizon and Level 3. It has 56,605 square feet of raised floor space, and is SSAE 16 Type I certified. The 86-acre perimeter is secured by fencing, visitor and shipment screening, CCTV and 24/7 security guards.
