Colliers Nails Down 100K SF Midtown Manhattan Leasing Expansion, Renewal
Under the terms of the lease, Loews will be located on the fourth through eleventh floors of the building.

Loews Corp. has expanded its office space in Midtown Manhattan via a 100,000-square-foot lease at 655 Madison Avenue. Colliers arranged the renewal and expansion, which added 22,599 square feet to the firm’s total space.
655 Madison is a 25-story Class A office building with only two vacant floors. It recently was given a $15 million facelift and was repositioned as a luxury office tower.
Under the terms of the lease, Loews will be located on the fourth through eleventh floors of the building. The owner of 655 Madison was represented by Colliers vice chairman and principal Andrew Roos, president Michael Cohen and senior managing director Dolores Minardi. The owner of 667 Madison, where Loews also has space, represented themselves.
According to Roos, Loews’ choice to stay in their current space is a vote of confidence in the property and the neighborhood.
