CIM Group Acquires Music City Iconic Tower
Nashville's first skyscraper, as well as one of the city's landmarks changes ownership.

Leading real estate investment firm CIM Group recently announced the acquisition of L&C Tower, Music City’s first skyscraper.

Centrally located in Nashville’s downtown core, the 30-story, 272,000-square-foot building at 401 Church Street comprises 178,000 square feet of office space, 13,850 square feet of ground and second floor retail, and a 9-story, 94,000-square-foot annex, which is connected on floors 2 through 8 to the tower. The property also features a 305-space parking garage.
Widely recognized as one of Nashville’s landmarks, L&C Tower is situated in the heart of a walkable urban district, offering close proximity to restaurants, retailers, hotels and entertainment venues such as Ryman Auditorium, Lower Broadway and the Country Music Hall of Fame.
The tower was constructed in 1957 as the headquarters of Life & Casualty Insurance Co. For decades, the building was recognized as the tallest structure in Nashville and the South. Its current tenants include companies such as Marbaloo Marketing, FoxFuel Creative and Tourbaloo.
