Choice Hotels Opens Downtown Atlanta Asset

Clarion Inn & Suites Downtown Atlanta

Choice Hotels International has opened the 104-key Clarion Inn & Suites Downtown Atlanta in the city’s Castleberry Hill neighborhood. The hotel’s owner and operator, the Russell family of companies, started renovation work to upgrade the five-story building in 2017. Previously, the asset operated under the Castleberry Inn & Suites flag.

The hotel offers guests a number of amenities, including a fitness center, business center, laundry facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi and daily breakfast service. The building also contains 1,400 square feet of meeting space. On-site parking is available at no additional charge.

Located at 186 Northside Drive S.W., the hotel is part of the Russell Hospitality Campus. In addition to the Clarion, the campus includes a 3,000-square-foot restaurant and The Loft at Castleberry Hill, a 6,000-square-foot private event venue. The property sits within a 10-minute walk of the newly opened Mercedes-Benz Stadium and the 3.9 million-square-foot Georgia World Congress Center and is near both interstates 20 and 85.

Earlier this year, Choice Hotels also opened the 235-key Cambria Hotel Nashville, located in the SoBro district of the city.
