Central Florida Logistics Center Rebranded as Florida’s Gateway

Winter Haven, Fla.—The Central Florida Intermodal Logistics Center, a 932-acre inland port located near Orlando, has been rebranded as Florida’s Gateway, JLL announced recently. The new branding reflects the inland port’s strategic location as a center point for distribution throughout Florida.

Situated at 4100 Logistics Parkway in Winter Haven, Florida’s Gateway is a planned 8 million-square-foot industrial development that will operate as a distribution and logistics hub. The facility will feature build-to-suit space ranging from 200,000 square feet to 1.8 million square feet. Moreover, a 407,400-square-foot, Class A distribution center is already available for single- or multi-tenant use.

“The new branding solidifies the integral role Florida’s Gateway will play in the future of Central Florida, acting as a lead distributor in the transportation of goods to all major population centers in the state,” said Joe Hills, senior vice president at JLL, in prepared remarks. “Florida’s Gateway is an ideal solution for industrial users seeking maritime access, port connectivity, proximity to rail and access to multiple markets from a chief distribution point.”

The 407,400-square-foot distribution facility

The state-of-the-art industrial project offers convenient highway access via Interstate 4, US Route 27 and Florida State Road 60, as well as connectivity to 18 million people within half a day’s drive. The property is adjacent to the CSX Winter Haven Intermodal, an innovative facility that features loading tracks and arrival and departure tracks with the capacity to process 300,000 containers annually and the ability to increase capacity in the future.

“Florida’s Gateway will be a central logistics hub that will effectively serve the state’s increasing population and its growing demand for goods and services,” added JLL’s Josh Lipoff.

The leasing team for Florida’s Gateway consists of JLL senior vice presidents Joe Hills and Josh Lipoff and vice presidents Ryan Burrows and Steve Ostrowski. They are joined by Mark Levy, managing director and leader of JLL’s Port, Airports and Global Infrastructure Practice, and Managing Director Keith Stauber.
