CBRE has expanded its South Carolina presence by adding seven professionals to its Valuation & Advisory Services team in Charleston. Led by Director Curt McCall, the group includes Chase Jones, Christina Dominy, John Colleary, Ben Perrone, Mason Sullivan and Karen Wing. All seven team members join CBRE from Colliers International.

McCall and the team will report to Southeast VAS Senior Managing Director Ron Neyhart, based in Atlanta. The group’s primary target area is South Carolina, along with coastal properties in Georgia and North Carolina. The professionals bring specialty experience in senior housing, multifamily, hospitality, self-storage, marinas and golf courses as well as general commercial real estate property types.

Industry veteran

McCall brings nearly three decades of commercial real estate experience to CBRE. Before joining Colliers four years ago, he ran his own firm for 15 years with the current team. McCall and the group have acquired extensive knowledge of the Charleston real estate market over the years.

“CBRE has built the largest commercial real estate valuation service in the Americas with deep experience in the core property types: office, retail, industrial and multifamily. Recently, we have strengthened specialty property types such as senior housing, hotels and other areas in which this team has deep knowledge,” Neyhart said in prepared remarks.

In October 2017, CBRE brokered the sale of Capitol Center, a 460,020-square-foot, Class A office building in downtown Columbia, S.C. The tallest building in South Carolina was 87 percent leased at the time of sale.
