The U.S. Green Building Council signed on 13 sustainability-minded companies to participate in its California Best Buildings Challenge. Over the course of three years, participants are exploring new opportunities to achieve significant energy and other efficiency savings. In working with such a small group, the USGBC aims to encourage collaboration, dissemination and eventually a collection of best practices for corporate users and other commercial property operators. Three companies shared details on their Challenge strategies:
