Portland, Ore.—CareHere has opened its 200th health center within the Portland, Ore., headquarters of Daimler Trucks North America. The facility will provide health and wellness services for employees of the North American truck and bus manufacturer and their dependents.

“We’re honored to have been chosen by Daimler Trucks to bring the convenience of on-site primary and preventative medical care to Daimler employees and their families, while helping the company save significant healthcare dollars,” said Ernie Clevenger, CareHere CEO. “The fact that it’s our 200th center speaks volumes to how strongly American businesses and healthcare consumers have embraced the concept of providing cost-effective and high-quality primary care at an on-site medical center. We’re pleased to have such an impact on lowering the cost of care to payers, increasing access to care for patients and returning the enjoyment of care to medical providers over the last twelve years.”

The health and wellness center totals 2,780 square feet with eight exam rooms. Staffing will consist of three physicians, two nurses, a nurse practitioner and a care coordinator. The facility will enable Daimler employees to schedule their appointments electronically and offers an on-site pharmaceutical dispensary, lab services, wellness plans and coaching with access to a registered dietitian, registered nurse, exercise coach and behavioral health coach.

“We are excited to partner with CareHere as they help us bring the best and latest in quality, convenient primary healthcare to our employees. They have an outstanding track record in lowering healthcare costs to companies, managing revenue effectively and reducing an employee’s time away from work when healthcare is needed. They’re great at what they do,” said Daimler Trucks North America.
