Boxer Properties has sold 13831 Northwest Freeway, an office building in Houston, to ManhattanLife. NAI Partners negotiated the purchase on behalf of the buyer. The 151,835-square-foot property marks the second building in ManhattanLife’s real estate portfolio. The company also owns 10777 Northwest Freeway, which is now the location of its current headquarters.

Jon Silberman of NAI Partners arranged the transaction, while Boxer was represented in-house by Jay Nowlin. Managing Director of NAI Partners’ Landlord Services division Jim Tainter was tapped to handle leasing and property management for the building.

“One of the most important aspects of being in this business are the relationships you develop,” said Silberman, in a prepared statement. “I’ve been fortunate to complete several transactions for ManhattanLife over the years, and it’s gratifying to continue our strong business relationship by locating an off-market investment property in an ideal submarket for the company.”
