Bixby Land Co. Adds San Bernardino Industrial Facility

This is the fourth acquisition of this type that was completed by the company.

San Bernardino, Calif.Bixby Land Co. recently completed a purchase that will expand its Inland Empire industrial portfolio. The company paid $10.2 million for a warehouse and distribution building in San Bernardino as part of its strategy to increase its core industrial holdings in the market.

Located at 19949 Kendall Drive in San Bernardino, the facility features 104,500 square feet of space which is currently fully leased through 2026 by C.H. Robinson Co., a logistics company on the Fortune 250 ranking. Occupying a 5-acre parcel of land with easy access to the I-215 Freeway at Palm Drive, the eight year-old facility features 30-foot clearance, ample dock-high and grade-level loading capacity, and a truck court with a 140-truck turning radius.

“This acquisition fits very well within our investment strategy to add institutional grade industrial assets in the $5 million to $50 million range,” Bixby Land Co. Senior Vice President of investments Mike Severson noted in a statement. This is the company’s fourth acquisition of this kind, with the focus on newer industrial assets secured by long-term leases.
