Bellomy & Co. has brokered the sale of three self-storage assets in Texas. The facilities are located in Austin, Katy and Edinburg. Bellomy & Co. represented the seller and procured the buyer in all three transactions.

Located at 405 E. St. Elmo Road in Austin, St. Elmo Storage occupies 1.2 acres across the St. Elmo Market and The Yard, near Interstate 35 and Highway 71. Built in 1986, the four-building facility comprises 319 non-climate-controlled units, ranging from 40 to 200 square feet. The property traded to a Houston-based investor, who plans to turn it into a Class A facility.

Superior Storage is situated at 3102 S. McColl Road in Edinburg along Interstate 69C. The five-building property was built in two phases, in 2005 and 2007, and features climate- and non-climate-controlled units, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet. At the time of the sale, the asset was 76 percent occupied. Superior Storage traded to a San Diego-based investor.

The property in Katy is located at 19936 Saums Road next to Interstate 10, within 25 miles of downtown Houston. Constructed in 1985, Storage Saums Road was originally a bowling alley and was repurposed as a storage facility in 2014. The property comprises 306 climate-controlled units. Storage Saums Road was acquired by a Dallas-based buyer.

The company’s brokerage team included Bill Bellomy, Michael Johnson and John Arnold. Last month, the same team brokered the sale of three more assets located in Texas. The transactions included the sale of two self-storage buildings in Houston and San Antonio, as well as a self-storage development site in Austin.
