Avison Young Adds New Principal

Based in the Boston office, Patrick Buckley will focus on tenant and landlord representation. Most recently, he served as senior vice president at CBRE.

Shortly after Bill Crean’s appointment, Avison Young has hired Patrick Buckley as its newest principal. In his new role, Buckley will handle tenant and landlord representation from the company’s Boston office.

Buckley has more than 15 years of commercial real estate experience, having represented throughout his career clients such as Bankers Life & Casualty, Santander, Delaware North, Rhythm Pharmaceuticals, Flywire, Ziopharm, Beacon Capital, Brookfield Office Properties, Rockpoint Group, Jumbo Capital and Berkeley Investments.

Buckley launched his career in 2003 at Colliers International, where he worked as vice president until 2010. Prior to joining Avison Young, Buckley served as senior vice president at CBRE. Starting with 2010, he was vice president at Richards Barry Joyce & Partners, which was acquired by Transwestern in 2013. He continued to serve as a senior vice president at Transwestern.

Buckley received a BS in finance from Villanova University. He is also a member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board’s Commercial Brokers Association.
