NewcrestImage recently broke ground for the development of a new, extended stay hotel in Frisco. Dubbed Hyatt House Frisco, the project is the first new-build Hyatt House Hotel in Texas. Located at 2875 Parkwood Blvd., the asset is within walking distance of the Frisco Conference Center, the Dr. Pepper Ballpark, Dr. Pepper Arena, the Stonebriar Centre mall and less than a mile from the future practice facility of the Dallas Cowboys.
Douglas Allred Plans 3 Projects in Chandler; Regent Properties Pays $58.6M for Paradise Valley Office Asset
Douglas Allred Company, a San Diego-based real estate firm, is ready to move forward with three new projects in Park Place, a 150-acre, mixed-use development located in the Price Road Corridor in Chandler. The company plans to add a new, eight-story, 210-room Drury Inn & Suites hotel, a retail and restaurant project and a 92,000-square-foot, Class A office building.
Target Corp.Chooses Memphis for the Development of $50M Online Fulfillment Center
Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam, Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty and Target Corporation just announced that Memphis has been chosen for the development of a new, 900,000-square-foot , online fulfillment center. Target will be investing almost $50 million in the new facility, which will bring more than 400 jobs in Shelby County. The new facility, which has been slated to be operational by mid-2015, will be managed by Innotrac and will service the Southeast United States. Hiring is set to begin early 2015.
City of Sugar Land, ACE Theatrical Group Break Ground on $74.3M Performance Venue
The City of Sugar Land in partnership with ACE Theatrical Group recently broke ground on a unique, $74.3 million state-of-the-art performance venue. The facility will be developed on a 38.5-acre tract located southeast of U.S. Highway 59 and University Boulevard.

HFF Arranges Sale, Financing for 3811 Turtle Creek in Uptown Dallas
KBS Realty Advisors recently increased its Dallas footprint through the acquisition of 3811 Turtle Creek, a 296,000-squre-foot, Class A office tower in Uptown. The deal was brokered by HFF, which acted on behalf of the seller, MetLife Real Estate Investors. The HFF team also helped with obtaining financing for the new owners, having secured a seven-year, 3.55 percent, fixed-rate loan through a life insurance company.
