Mark-Taylor Inc. has recently announced it would team up with Phoenix-based Kitchell Development Co. to develop a 590-unit multifamily project in Tempe. The giant apartment community will be called San Sonora.

Walmart Stores Inc. is looking to hire about 275 full- and part-time employees at its new Supercenter, along Binz-Engleman and Foster Road, which is expected to open this spring.
