Vista Industrial Asset Fetches $5.6M

The sale of a San Diego industrial asset was recently announced by real estate brokerage Colliers International. The transaction was completed by one of the company’s local offices, on behalf of seller Symphony Asset Pool XIV, while new owner B Group Holdings Inc. was represented by CCIM. The value of the transaction stood at a total of $5,562,500.

Hines/Oaktree Joint Venture Acquires 4 Office Buildings From Boyer

The Salt Lake City office market was recently spurred on after a joint venture created by international real estate firm Hines and a subsidiary of a real estate fund managed by Oaktree Capital Management acquired a large chunk of The Gateway district’s office space. The four buildings acquired by the JV were sold by The Boyer Company for an undisclosed amount.

Design Team Selected for The Paseo Del Norte/I-25 Interchange Reconstruction Project

A reconstruction project meant to reduce traffic congestion and improve safety and air quality has selected its design team. The corridor in question is the Paseo Del Norte/I-25 Interchange and has allocated $93 million – $75 million for the actual project and an additional $18 million for the preliminary design, acquisition of rights, and additional fees.

Diamond Resorts Closes IPO; Condo Resale Sets Record at Cosmopolitan

Las Vegas’ wild entertainment and gaming environment makes some people forget that a huge amount of business is what backs up the sprawling Strip investments and luxurious resorts. Diamond Resorts International Inc., a company that owns several Las Vegas hospitality venues including Cancun Resort, Desert Resort and Polo Towers Suites has recently announced the closing of its IPO offering an aggregate of 17,825,000 shares of common stock, at the initial offering price of $14 per share. According to company data, Diamond Resorts gained net proceeds totaling $210,185,500 before deducting offering expenses payable by the company.

Ritz-Carlton San Francisco Acquired as Building is Once Again Part of MetLife

As the city’s hospitality market soars to new heights, there might be space for passion plays as MetLife Inc. recently acquired its former headquarters, now a thriving San Francisco hotel. The insurance giant entered a joint venture with Thayer Lodging Group to purchase The Ritz-Carlton San Francisco for a grand total of $161 million. The building housed the corporation between 1909 and 1973. After a number of modifications and a four-year renovation process, the building finally received new life with the 1991 opening of the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco.
