With the city’s residential market being on an upward trend, some investors have oriented their strategy towards expanding their existing operations in the area. Such a move was recently made by home builder Century Communities. The company recently announced that it had acquired the operations and assets of Dunhill Homes Las Vegas Operations.

Las Cimas IV, the newest of the Las Cimas Buildings, has changed owners. Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, L.P. (HFF) marketed the property on behalf of the seller, KBS Capital Advisors, and procured the buyer, Clarion Partners.
Presidium Group Acquires Villages of Cinnamon Creek
Dallas-based Presidium Group, LLC, announced the acquisition of the fourth residential property in the San Antonio area over the past six months. The other three apartment complexes are the 252-unit Oakwell Springs, the 81-unit Hunter’s Ridge Apartments, and the 123-unit Towne Oaks apartments.
Radiator Building Signs First Major Tenant
One of Portland’s most ambitious office developments received a major boost with the completion of a major leasing deal being announced by the developer. Developer Kaiser Group Inc. has reportedly agreed a contract for a total of 14,000 square feet of space at one of the buildings in the One North Development with the Kartini Clinic, an entity that deals with the treatment of eating disorders in children and young adults. The new tenant will occupy the top two of the five floors of the Radiator building starting with March 2015.

Sansone Plans $23 Million Makeover for Boulevard Mall
With the city’s retail market still one of the pillars of its economy, a new refurbishment project was recently announced by commercial real estate firm Sansone Companies. The entity is looking to take an aging Las Vegas shopping center through an extensive renovation process that would add value and revive a once iconic property. Sansone is reportedly set to take The Boulevard Mall retail center through its first major renovation in more than 20 years. The company purchased the property at the end of last year for a fee of $54.5 million.

EAH Housing Awarded Contract to Develop New Transit-Oriented Affordable Housing Community in Emeryville
A new affordable housing project is set to near reality after the City of Emeryville announced that it had picked the company that would handle an important project for the community. According to a recently released press statement, Emeryville local authorities have selected EAH Housing, the oldest nonprofit housing management and development organization in the western US. EAH then went on to select the architecture firm that will provide the design for the project, and the developer settled on KTGY Group, Inc.
San Antonio City Council Selects Gustafson Guthrie Nichol to Design Hemisfair’s Civic Park
