Balfour Beatty Hired to Build $30M Condo Project at The Wharf
PN Hoffman & Associates, Inc. has selected Balfour Beatty’s Washington division to construct a new condominium building on the St. Augustine’s Church site in Washington, D.C.’s Southwest Waterfront neighborhood. The $30 million Wharf Parcel 11B – 625 Water Street at Waterfront Park project represents the first collaboration between the two companies.

Governor Martin O’Malley, Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and many other federal, state and local officials were present on July 22, at the Science + Technology Park at Johns Hopkins in East Baltimore, to cut the ceremonial ribbon for the new state-of-the-art facility.

Global Healthcare REIT to Expand in Ohio with Nursing Home Acquisition
Utah-based Global Healthcare REIT, Inc. announced at the end of July its plans to expand into Ohio. The company has entered into an agreement to purchase the Meadowview Nursing Home, located in Seville, Ohio. It will be the fifth such property in Global Healtchare REIT’s portfolio.
