Award-wining architects Eric Brock and Ben Hudgins have joined hands to launch Brock Hudgins Architects. The newly founded company will specialize in the design of major urban development and renovation projects.

The two architects have delivered more than 10,000 living spaces over several decades, achieving desirable density by integrating new construction into existing urban developments. The company’s services include planning and zoning, from initial site analysis to jurisdictional review process.

Throughout his career, Brock has earned more than 25 design awards, having served as principal and director of housing and mixed-use studio at Lord Aeck Sargent between 2004 and 2016. Prior to that, he was a principal at Brock Green Architects and Planners between 1994 and 2004.

Hudgins specializes in urban design and mixed-use projects. He has extensive experience in planning and addressing complex urban-infill sites, having served as a designer and project manager at Lord Aeck Sargent, alongside Brock, for almost a decade. He previously worked as project coordinator at Wakefield Beasley & Associates from 2002 to 2007.

The two architects have designed various high-profile projects together, including Atlanta apartment communities Berkshire Terminus and Seven Midtown.
