Venture X to Open 10th DFW Location
The future coworking space is within a medical office building.
Venture X will open a 16,006-square-foot flex office at 3101 Churchill Drive in Flower Mound, Texas. Scheduled to begin its activity in December, the location will mark the provider’s tenth coworking location across the Metroplex.
Venture X Flower Mound will feature 90 private offices, as well as conference rooms, café and lounge areas and an event room meant for seminars and community gatherings. The coworking location will be owned and operated by real estate broker Spencer George.
The opening of Venture X Flower Mound comes on the heels of several coworking space announcements under the same brand. Namely, in September, Venture X made its plans known for a 22,218-square-foot flex office at Regions Plaza, in Atlanta. One month prior, the flex office provider announced its plans to open a 20,000-square-foot coworking space at Grover Corlew’s Mayla Pompano in early 2027.
Since coworking has become an established subsector of the U.S. office market, secondary metros began gaining ground when it came to the sector’s expansion. April 2026 saw more than 9,200 flex office locations across the U.S., totaling 165 million square feet, or accounting for 2.3 percent of total office inventory. Coworking demand across secondary markets is increasingly driven by accessibility, affordability and proximity to residential areas, proving a convenient solution for both corporate teams and local professionals.
A closer look at Center Place I
Dubbed Center Place I, the three-story, 45,778-square-foot building at 3101 Churchill Drive debuted in 1998 and currently serves as a medical office facility. Its tenant roster includes R3 Wound Care and Hyperbarics and Academy of Aesthetics and Laser, according to Yardi Matrix information.
Center Place I is 12 miles north of DFW International Airport and across the road from Flower Mound Town Center and Riverwalk Market shopping centers. The closest Venture X location is 7 miles south, at 2451 W. Grapevine Mills Circle, in Grapevine, Texas.
As of the third quarter of this year, Dallas-Fort Worth’s market encompassed 344 coworking locations, amounting to almost 7 million square feet of space, according to a recent report by CoworkingCafe. In terms of space, the Metroplex’s figure surpassed those recorded by Atlanta (5.9 million square feet) and Washington, D.C. (6.9 million square feet) but came short of Los Angeles (7.6 million square feet), Chicago (9.3 million square feet) and Manhattan (12.3 million square feet).
