Thor Equities has signed two leases totaling 17,600 square feet with Knotel. The flexible space provider will occupy space at 590 and 597 Fifth Avenue, two iconic office towers in Midtown Manhattan, shortly after it signed a significant lease at 110 William St.

Knotel’s lease at 590 Fifth Avenue includes 11,200 square feet across two floors. The 91,130-square-foot building features a 24,365-square-foot retail component, a recently renovated lobby and upgraded elevators and column-free floors. A diverse roster of tenants, which includes Columbia University, HIP, NBA and AT&T, occupies 95 percent of the property.

At 597 Fifth Avenue, also known as Charles Scribner’s Sons Building, Knotel took a full, 6,400-square-foot floor. The Class A, 12-story property is fully leased and houses Burma Bibas, Reclaim NY, Value Penguin, Yieldstreet and Icreon Tech.

Avison Young’s Arthur Mirante, John Ryan, Patrick Steffens and Dominic Perkovic, alongside Adam Lavinsky of Thor Equities represented the landlord in the lease transaction. Sitt Ventures’ Robbie Chattah and Aziz Kabbaj acted on behalf of the tenant.
