As Cawley Chicago continues to build on its newly launched urban redevelopment and adaptive reuse client services platform, the company has made two more additions to its executive team. Zach Pruitt and Nicholas Schaefer were appointed as principal and vice president within the industrial practice group, joining three former colleagues from their previous workplace—NelsonHill—Doug Hayes, Frank Melchert and Stevan Arandjelovic. The latter were also hired earlier this spring.

Zach Pruitt’s responsibility will be to oversee the firm’s efforts to establish a downtown office, represent clients looking to lease new space and assist owners of commercial real estate in evaluating and repositioning their assets. He has 15 years of industry experience, 10 of which were spent at NelsonHill and DTZ/UGL Equis.

Nicholas Schaefer’s expertise is in sale and lease negotiations—regarding both acquisitions and dispositions—as well as site selection. He can assist clients in relocating operations and creating strategic leasing initiatives.

The addition of Zach and Nicholas, and reuniting them with Hayes, Melchert and Arandjelovic, creates a unique services team for building and business owners in Chicago and its neighborhoods,” Mike McKiernan, principal & sales manager with Cawley Chicago, said in a prepared statement.
