Peapod Relocates HQ to Downtown Chicago

Peapod is relocating from Skokie, Ill., to a new 53,000-square-foot space at 300 S. Riverside Plaza in downtown Chicago. The company expects to move all its current 220 employees from its offices in Skokie and the Civic Opera Building to the new location by April 2018. Colliers International represented the tenant in the lease while The Telos Group worked on behalf of the landlord, Third Millennium Group.

“With premier commuter access, attractive building amenities, and a large floor plate with good natural light, the building is a desirable site for high performance. Moreover, there are a growing number of technology companies relocating to the West Loop. Peapod is positioned to recruit talent and expand for years to come,” said Colliers Principal David Burden in prepared remarks.

Highly amenitized office tower

The 23-story tower offers approximately 1.1 million square feet of office space and modern, collaborative layouts. Amenities include several dining options, a conference center, a gym, a winter garden, bicycle parking and a movie screening room. The property is close to two commuter rail stations connecting it to the surrounding area.

The brokers involved in the deal were Burden and Senior Associate Tom Berarducci from Colliers and Principal Matt Pistorio and Senior Vice President Joy Jordan from The Telos Group.
