After debuting the highest hotel in Vietnam, InterContinental Hotels Group opened InterContinental Perth City Centre, the brand’s sixth hotel in Australia. Designed by Woods Bagot, with interiors by Chada, the 240-key hotel is located within The King Street Precinct.Â
The 16-story InterContinental Perth City Centre combines West Australian details along with sculptures, paintings, bespoke ceramics and glass works of local artists. The classic rooms, studios and penthouse have a residential feel and feature taupe, olive and bronze hues.Â
Eateries for every taste
The top floor is occupied by a venue offering a la carte breakfast, all day refreshments, high tea service in the afternoon and canapĂ©s and drinks, available only for Club InterContinental guests. The hotel’s restaurants include food-truck concept eatery Graffiti, tapas bar Heno & Rey, Ascua and The Loft Lounge. Other hotel amenities include the Gallery Meeting Suites for business gatherings and the Chef’s Pantry lounge.Â
The hotel offers quick access to Hay Street, His Majesty’s Theatre, luxury retailers and cafes as well as Perth’s business hub, city parks and the Swan River ferry options at Elizabeth Quay.Â
