Schuster Group Tops Off Walton Lofts Project in Belltown
Earlier this year, we covered part of The Schuster Group’s activity in the Seattle multifamily market, when the vertically integrated real estate company announced the sale of its Joseph Arnold Lofts, and the focus of its attention on a similar project in the proximity of that asset, the Walton Lofts. The developer broke ground on the project in February 2014, and has now announced that the project has been topped off, with an opening set for next summer.

Earlier this year, the Schuster Group announced the sale of its Joseph Arnold Lofts and broke ground on Walton Lofts, a 12-story apartment project in the Belltown submarket. Schuster recently topped off the project and plans an opening for next summer.
When completed, Walton Lofts will comprise 136 units featuring a loft-like setting, generous living space and upscale finishes.
The 12-story building will offer premium studio, one- and two-bedroom units and an extensive amenity package. According to Schuster, pre-leasing will begin in the spring of 2015.
The building is located near the proximity of the historic Belltown Cottage Park, and the nearby Olympic Sculpture Park. Walton Lofts residents will also have easy access to the city’s waterfront.
Walton Lofts is a candidate for certification by the Green Building Initiative and is slated for the three Green Globes level. The community was designed by Steve Cox of Shoesmith Cox Architects and VIA Architecture, with contracting duties being handled by Turner Construction Co. Schuster is noted for its specialization in loft-style communities.
