Hilton Opens Istanbul’s Largest Hotel & Conference Center

Hilton has announced the opening of the 829-key Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center, Hilton’s newest Turkish asset and Istanbul’s largest hotel.

Hilton has announced the opening of the 829-key Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center, Hilton’s newest Turkish asset and Istanbul’s largest hotel. Designed by London-based GA Design, Hilton Istanbul Bomonti is the result of a management agreement between IC Bomonti Uluslararasi Kongre Turizm Yatirimlari Ticaret A.Ş and Hilton Worldwide.

The 35-story property located on the European side of the city features the largest number of rooms as well as the most meeting space: close to 130,000 square feet.

“With its significant scale, the hotel supports Istanbul as a rapidly emerging international conference and events venue to rival locations such as London, Dubai and Prague,” said Simon Vincent, president, EMEA, Hilton Worldwide. The hotel is capable of serving 6,350 conference guests and boats Istanbul’s largest pillar-free ballroom.  Hilton Istanbul Bomonti comprises 25 meeting rooms, four boardrooms, a function room, a 9,646-square-foot junior ballroom with a 4,716-square-foot foyer, a 25,848-square-foot main ballroom divisible into eight different configurations and featuring a 20,147-square-foot foyer. A 13,376-square-foot garden/outdoor terrace provides outdoor event space as well.  The hotel also features state-of-the-art meetings technology such as digital check-in screens and iRoom applications for event planners.

Hilton Istanbul Bomonti also boasts Turkey’s first eforea: spa at Hilton, a 35,520-square-foot luxury spa featuring indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a 5,382-square-foot 24-hour fitness center, 14 treatment rooms including Turkish baths and a 68-space car park. Further onsite amenities include a barber shop, beauty salon, clothing store, convenience store, shoe-shine stand, laundry, valet and concierge service. Rooms in the sleek, modern hotel feature floor-to-ceiling windows, ergonomic work areas and Wi-Fi.

Dining options include the Grand Lobby, serving light snacks and drinks, including the world famous Turkish coffee; The Globe, serving offers local and international cuisine and boasts four live cooking stations; and the Cloud 34 rooftop bar, offering drinks, meals and sweeping views of Istanbul and the Bosporus. An exclusive Executive Lounge caters to the most high-end customers.

Located in the desirable Sisli neighborhood, the hotel is in close proximity to a bevy of attractions such as the historical Galata Tower, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace, as well as Taksim Square and the Old Town. Shopping is available at Kanyon, Istinye Park, Cevahir malls, Nisantasi shopping district or the Grand Bazaar. Moreover, the historic Bomonti Beer Factory, adjacent to the hotel is being redeveloped into a shopping, dining, entertainment and arts destination.  The Istanbul and Lufti Kirdar Congress Centers are located just a little over a mile away, while Ataturk International Airport and Sabiha Golcen International Airport are within a 30-minute distance.
