Martin Ahern and Jay Pacelli, two associate vice presidents with the company, will occupy full vice president positions within the investment and transactions teams.
London-based 90 North Real Estate Partners has promoted two associate vice presidents with its Chicago office to vice presidents of investment and transactions. In their new roles, Martin Ahern and Jay Pacelli will review investment opportunities, develop business plans and execute closing transactions.
Ahern was hired as an associate vice president in late 2014 and has 10 years of commercial real estate experience, specializing in leasing and development. During his career, he was involved in the acquisition and disposition of industrial, office, medical and land assets.
Pacelli has been with 90 North Real Estate Partners for more than three years as associate vice president. His experience in commercial real estate spans more than 10 years, focusing on the legal and transactional aspects of various types of investments.
Together, the two vice presidents will work to strengthen the company’s acquisition strategy within North America. 90 North is mainly focused on expanding its office, industrial, senior living and student housing portfolios, targeting assets within the $50 to $200 million range. The firm recently completed its first deal in the U.S. with the sale of the three-building Lenovo Enterprise Campus, a 486,000-square-foot trophy office complex in Raleigh, N.C.
