Providence, R.I.Hotel Asset Value Enhancement (hotelAVE) recently named Michele Wimpling and Nina Kleiman as executive vice presidents. The two freshly appointed industry experts will consolidate hotelAVE’s team by bringing over six decades of cumulated experience in real estate and development, finances, hotel operations, asset management, and acquisitions.

Before joining the Ocean State-based company, Wimpling held the position of vice president of real estate and development at FRHI Hotels & Resorts. Here, she managed the worldwide expansion of the company’s portfolio. She was also responsible for global acquisitions and sales, while overseeing the hotel management business in the Americas. With over 30 years of experience in finance and real estate, Wimpling has previously worked for companies such as KPMG, General Electric Capital Corp., Jefferson Wells Intl., Hampstead Group, or Ashforth Real Estate Group.

With a career boasting over three decades, Kleiman has spent the last five years expanding hotelAVE’s operations. A Cornell alumnus in Hospitality Administration, she holds an MBA from UC Berkley’s Haas School of Business. Prior to working with the Providence-based asset management firm, Kleiman held positions with LaSalle Hotel Properties, InterContinental Hotels Group PLC, Lehman Brothers, and Coopers & Lybrand.

“Delivering real estate value to hotel owners begins with hiring the very best associates with diverse skills and experiences while allowing a focused approach via maintaining a low ratio of associates to assets,” said in prepared remarks Michelle Russo, hotelAVE founder & CEO.

HotelAVE is a leading firm in its field and holds a large global portfolio, having been entrusted, up to date, with over $5.5 billion in worldwide hotel investment assets.
