Chicago—White Lodging recently announced the addition of Paula Spada as senior vice president and general counsel.
Prior to joining the White Lodging team, Spada worked as a vice president & assistant general counsel for Hyatt Hotels & Resort, where she led the legal team for Hyatt’s development and real estate activities. Prior to this, she was an associate in the Chicago office of Sidley Austin LLP, where she specialized in private and public mergers and acquisitions, securities and joint venture transactions.
She holds a Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University’s School of Law and a Masters degree from the University of Michigan’s Law School.
“We are thrilled to add someone of Paula’s caliber to our senior leadership team,” Deno Yiankes, president & CEO, investments & development, said in prepared remarks. “Her deep and broad experience will add tremendous value to White Lodging and our valued partners as we open a minimum of 15 hotels and exceed 30,000 guestrooms under management over the next 24 months.”
