Real estate service provider Cassidy Turley has been named the exclusive U.S. real estate representative for New York-based Weight Watchers. Under the agreement, which was announced Wednesday, Cassidy Turley will also provide project management services to the firm.

Weight Watchers has launched an aggressive initiative to enhance their retail presence nationwide by taking advantage of market conditions and improving their in-store designs, the company said. Cassidy Turley will work with them to relocate and renew leases for the more than 800 existing Weight Watchers centers.

“We chose Cassidy Turley because of their proven track record with similar initiatives,” Weight Watchers vice president of real estate Tricia Shay said when announcing the agreement. “They proposed a solution that was specifically customized to our needs.”

Officially launched on March 1, Cassidy Turley has more than 420 million square feet of managed space in 57 locations. It recently announced the addition of Colliers Barry, which will become part of the firm as of April 15. Colliers Barry has had a major presence in Milwaukee for nearly a century and specializes in industrial, office, retail, commercial and investment brokerage. It has sold and leased more than a billion square feet of real estate.
