Courtyard by Marriott Anaheim Theme Park Entrance is scheduled to open its doors to guests this Tuesday, August 18.

The 221-key hotel is located at 1420 South Harbor Blvd. in Anaheim, Calif. within an approximate five-minute walk to the main entrances of Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park and Downtown Disney.

Locally-based Northwest Hotel Corp. owns and manages the six-story property, which will operate as a Marriott franchise.

Guests will have access to a water park with six water slides, a 400-gallon drench bucket, water cannons, children’s pool, swimming pool and hot tub. Other amenities include a 1,100 square-foot fitness center overlooking the water park, a business lobby, The Bistro restaurant, as well as a sidewalk grill and boutique gift shop. All extra-large guest rooms offer more than 530 square feet of living space as well as 47-inch HD televisions with Netflix, Hulu, Pandora and other platforms provided by entertainment systems integrator ENSEO.

The opening of the Courtyard Anaheim Theme Park Entrance is the latest sign of the rebounding tourism industry in Anaheim. Earlier this year, Jay Burress, president & CEO of the Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau, told the Orange County Register that an estimated $150 million is being spent by developers on new hotel construction and renovation this year, which will add more than 1,500 rooms to the city’s resort district by the end of 2015.
