The Walter & Samuels team has grown with the addition of Mark Jaccom, its newest executive vice president & director of leasing and brokerage. In his new role, he will oversee all the commercial assets the firm manages, while developing for the first time a strategic brokerage and advisory services group for third-party landlords and tenants.

As we continue to add new properties to our portfolio and build relationships with institutional owners, we want to be faster on our feet. While some companies become so big they’re hardly manageable, our size requires a powerful and responsive leasing department that adds value to our assets, third-party owners and tenants,” Walter & Samuels Chairman David Berley said in a prepared statement.

Jaccom has more than 40 years of corporate leasing and real estate advisory experience, having previously worked with many Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies. He previously served as vice chairman at JRT Realty Group. He was also president & managing principal at Cresa, where he oversaw the company’s brokerage services in Manhattan. From 2006 to 2012, he served as CEO of the Tri-State region at Colliers International, where he grew the business into a full-service international advisory firm. His longest tenure was at Savills Studley, where he worked as vice chairman & principal between 1991 and 2006. Jaccom started his real estate career at Coldwell Banker as a broker.
