Urban Logistics Realty Plans Phoenix Industrial Park

Located in the West Valley, the project is set to include 680,000 square feet.

Urban Logistics Realty is planning a 680,000-square-foot industrial project in the Goodyear airport area in Phoenix. The project, Urban District 10, would be a five-building park, the Phoenix Business Journal reported.

Located in the West Valley, south of Interstate 10, the industrial facility will be constructed on a 44-acre site. The land is among the last remaining vacant parcels close to I-10.

Situated at the northeast corner of Bullard Avenue and Celebrate Life Way, Urban District 10 would be in proximity to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America hospital, the Phoenix Goodyear airport, the Union Pacific rail line and the planned Arizona State Route 30.

Last week, the planning and zoning commission in Goodyear showed support for the project, recommending approval for rezoning the land.

Deutsch Architecture Group is the listed architect for the potential commercial and flex industrial facilities. Kimley-Horn is the engineer for Urban District 10 and Tiffany & Bosco is the legal counsel, according to project documents.

Goodyear industrial developments

Phoenix saw a large amount of construction starts and industrial investments throughout last year. Although 2023 has only just began, the Goodyear area has already seen several deals—a testament to the popularity of the area.

Expected to be completed by the end of this year, a $60 million manufacturing facility is being developed at a nearly 1.3 million-square-foot campus. The industrial asset will be the largest building of three situated at the southeast corner of 99th Avenue and Buckeye Road.

Another project has recently broken ground in the same area. Goodyear AirPark, an industrial campus on a 585-acre site, is anticipated to include more than 1.6 million square feet across six buildings in the first phase of development.
