Transwestern Adds Experts to Phoenix Office

Kate Morris and Vince Femiano, who collectively bring more than 50 years of health-care real estate experience, and Kevin Smigiel, are joining the firm from CBRE.

Transwestern Commercial Services has added Senior Vice Presidents Kate Morris and Vince Femiano, as well Senior Associate Kevin Smigiel, to the firm’s health-care advisory services group in Phoenix. All three come from CBRE, where Morris and Femiano spent more than five years as First Vice Presidents. Smigiel worked for CBRE for more than a year and a half as a sales assistant.

Morris and Femiano have been the recipients of NAIOP’s Healthcare Brokers of Year award for the last five years. They collectively bring more than 50 years of health-care real estate experience, having served a variety of clients throughout their carrer, including hospital systems, large physician groups, as well as developers and investors in the medical office, senior housing and lab sectors. Morris, who has more than 30 years of real estate experience, also worked for industry leaders such as AT&T, Lowe Enterprises and RREEF in Chicago, Denver and Phoenix.  

Femiano and Smigiel are graduates of Arizona State University, while Morris earned her bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University and her master’s from Loyola University Chicago.

Last year in the fall, Transwestern Commercial Services also welcomed its new president, Thomas Lawyer.
