Top Producer Joins Colliers in Florida

Senior-level land sales broker David Calcanis will serve as managing director of land services in the firm's Orlando office.

Orlando, Fla.—Colliers International Central Florida recently named senior commercial real estate broker David Calcanis as managing director of land services. He will work with Colliers’ Orlando-based team alongside Director Trevor Hall and Associate Dustin Bowersett.

David Calcanis brings more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate land services, with a focus on representing buyers and sellers in office, industrial and retail land transactions. His background also includes consulting services, with a specialization in strategic land planning in a variety of urban, suburban and rural settings. He has significant experience in the Central Florida market as well as in other markets throughout the state.

Before joining Colliers, Calcanis served as senior director of land brokerage services at Cushman & Wakefield. Prior to that, he was VP of the land services group at Grubb & Ellis Co., where he executed over $100 million in land transactions involving a total volume of 500 acres in the Central Florida market.

Calcanis is a licensed Florida real estate broker and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He earned his B.S. in Business Administration at the Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Fla. Calcanis also received the NAIOP “Top Producer Award” each year from 2008 to 2011.
