Colorado Springs, Colo.Wyndham Hotel Group has announced the opening of its latest Centennial State property—The Antlers, a Wyndham Hotel—in Colorado Springs. Owned by hoteliers John Goede and Perry Sanders Jr., the 273-key hotel is in the final phase of an extensive renovation program that includes the overhaul of its guestrooms, lobby, restaurants, and more than 27,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

“With more than five million visitors annually, Colorado Springs is an increasingly popular destination for U.S. travelers, making it a perfect addition to Wyndham’s growing portfolio of city-center and vacation destinations,” Chip Ohlsson, Wyndham Hotel Group’s chief development officer for North America, said in a statement.

Located in the heart of Colorado Springs, the upscale hotel offers guests views of Pike’s Peak and the Rockies, and lies within walking distance of a variety of local shops, restaurants and museums. Wyndham Hotel Group now operates 15 hotels in the area, including The Mining Exchange, a Wyndham Grand Hotel—also owned by Goede and Sanders.

The second phase of the hotel’s makeover includes a new rooftop swimming pool and bar overlooking Pike’s Peak, a lobby bar, dinner service at the new Antlers Grill, a rooftop garden and apiary, an Italian restaurant, 24-hour fitness center, as well as an indoor pool and hot tub.
