Taurus Investment Holdings Buys $50M Atlanta Portfolio

JLL represented the seller of the properties along the I-20 West corridor and procured the buyer.

Taurus Investment Holdings LLC has purchased a five-property industrial portfolio in Atlanta for $50 million. Everwest Real Estate Investors LLC sold the I-20 West property collection totaling 581,750 square feet, plus an additional trailer storage site on a drop lot.

Combined, the properties cover 25.64 acres of land. They are fully occupied.

The I-20 West portfolio includes:

  • 1520 Westfork Drive, a 51,017-square-foot building completed in 1981. According to CommercialEdge data, the manufacturing property houses Payne Carpet Care and Southeast Cooler.
  • 1650 Westfork Drive, a 6-acre lot with one building built in 1986. The 100,000 square-foot warehouse and distribution facility is occupied by AEE Productions.
  • 6070 Fulton Ind. Blvd., which features one 227,600-square-foot asset on some 15 acres. The sole tenant for the 1988 building is Steelcase.
  • 6140 Purdue Drive, a building completed in 1981, featuring 97,400 square feet. It is currently occupied by Crystal Clean for manufacturing purposes.
  • 6200 Purdue Drive, a facility completed in 1980, totaling 105,600 square feet. Bonded Whs is the building’s tenant. It sits on 6 acres of land.
  • A trailer storage site located at 6100 Purdue Drive, situated on 4.62 acres. It features 87 parking spaces.

Portfolio amenities include clear heights ranging from 18 feet to 24 feet, 138 dock-high doors, 11 drive-in doors and rear-loading, front-loading and cross-dock configurations.

Located in proximity to Interstate 20 and I-285, tenants have access to the Greater Atlanta area, as well as east and west distribution capabilities.

JLL represented the seller and procured the buyer. The Capital Markets Investment and Sales advisory team to complete the deal was led by Matt Wirth, senior managing director, along with Dennis Mitchell and Britton Burdette.

Everwest Real Estate Investors recently teamed up with Woodmont Industrial Partners on an industrial project in New Jersey. The 145,000-square-foot warehouse, which is set to be renovated and expanded, is scheduled for delivery this summer.
