MacFarlane Partners has recently completed the acquisition of a high-profile development site located in the growing residential market of downtown Los Angeles. The developer has two residential buildings line up for the piece of land, as well as a retail component and large amounts of open space. The buyer acquired the development site from Africa-Israel USA, in a deal brokered by Newmark Grubb Knight Frank representatives from New York and Los Angeles.

Industrial Investors Attracted to the Hot Submarkets North of I-95

The Baltimore industrial market is performing very well in the submarkets located to the north of I-95 (Baltimore City, Baltimore County East, and Harford/Cecil County), much better than in any other regions in the metropolitan area. According to reports from Cassidy Turley, compared to the same period last year, available industrial space in the Harford/Cecil County is taking an average of 11 months to lease. In the Baltimore/Washington Corridor submarket it takes 18 months.

1788 Holdings, Persimmon Capital Partners to Redefine Luxury Condo Living in D.C. with The Lauren

Another luxury condo development has broken ground in the Washington, D.C. area. Called The Lauren Residences, it will deliver 40 condominiums to downtown Bethesda in the early spring of 2016. 1788 Holdings and Persimmon Capital Partners are the project’s developers. With The Lauren, they plan to ”redefine Washington, DC’s concept of luxury condominium living.”

The Reserve at Alaqua, a private golf course community in northeastern Orlando is now available to future residents. Located at 3109 Players View Circle in Longwood, within the Alaqua Country Club, the homes are close to Wekiva Preserve.

STORE Capital Acquired Advanced Control Systems Building

STORE Capital – an Institutional REIT, bought Advanced Control Systems Building a 49,436 square foot office/warehouse facility located in Norcross, enlisting the services of Stan Johnson Company. The transaction was worth $4.12 million and the property is leased back to Advanced Control Systems, Inc.

Gateway Center Doral Broke Ground

A brand new mixed use development is coming soon to Doral. DBH Properties, LTD broke ground on Gateway Center Doral in early June and the retail and high-end boutique office center will encompass 84,000-square feet in two buildings. The office component of the development totals around 43,000 square feet.
