Penguins-UPMC Sports Complex Breaks Ground in Cranberry
Representatives from the Pittsburgh Penguins and UPMC have recently celebrated the groundbreaking of the 180,000-square-foot UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry Township. The Pittsburgh Business Times reports that the$79 million project will feature a new UPMC sports medicine clinic, as well as a two-rink practice facility for the famous hockey team.

Urban Outfitters (URBN Inc.), a global retailer of clothing and decor that was founded in University City in 1970, is planning an unprecedented expansion of two of its production centers in the Philadelphia area. The $200 million investment announced recently by the company will result in a larger headquarters at Urban’s existing facility at the Philadelphia Navy Yard and a new, direct-to-customer fulfillment center in Gap, Lancaster County.
