Smith Tapped as VP/Controller of KBS

Todd Smith has joined KBS Realty Advisors as vice president and controller in charge of overseeing the firm’s corporate and technical accounting departments.

With nearly two decades of experience, Smith comes to KBS from The Boeing Co. in Southern California, where he served as an account manager. He has also held accounting positions at the Irvine Apartment Communities and California Pacific Homes divisions of The Irvine Co., and was previously an auditor for Ernst & Young.

According to KBS senior vice president Stacie Yamane, Smith’s accounting management experience will provide necessary financial reporting leadership to grow property portfolios. She added that his specific experience in apartment and multi-family accounting is also beneficial.

Smith earned his MBA from the University of California, Irvine, and his undergraduate degree in business administration from California State University, Fullerton.
