Simmons & Co. International Leases 30 KSF Houston Office Space

The high-rise is a 48-story, 1,073,075-square-foot office tower in downtown Houston designed by Pickard Chilton. According to Hines, the property is currently 64 percent occupied.

Simmons & Co. International has signed a long-term lease for more than 30,000 square feet at 609 Main at Texas, a 48-story, 1,073,075-square-foot office tower in downtown Houston. Cushman & Wakefield Vice Chairman Lou Cushman and Executive Vice Chairman Tim Relyea brokered the deal on behalf of the tenant, while Colvill Office Properties Executive Vice President Michael Anderson and Vice President Damon Thames represented the owner, Hines.

Designed by Pickard Chilton, the project’s north and south façade extend skyward, culminating in a diagonal crown, creating a highly visible downtown landmark. The property will be LEED Platinum certified. According to Hines, the property is currently 64 percent leased. Tenants include Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Orrick, Hogan Lovells, McKinsey & Co., Russell Reynolds Associates and United Airlines.
