Sentinel Names Sletteland as Vice President, Marketing & Client Services

Sentinel has filled a newly created position.

Filling a newly created position, owner, operator and manager of institutional real estate assets Sentinel Real Estate Corp. has tapped J.P. Sletteland Jr. as vice president of marketing and client services. Sletteland will oversee the development of the firm’s United States strategic marketing and client relations programs, reporting directly to vice chairman David Weiner. He will also participate in product development.

Weiner said that Sletteland is a major young talent in the institutional marketing industry, with skiills and experience that will measurably enhance the team’s strength.

He comes to Sentinel from Park Hill Real Estate Group L.L.C., an affiliate of The Blackstone Group L.P., which provides placement advisory services worldwide to real estate sponsors. He previously worked in the global client development divisions at Risk Solutions International L.L.C. and Marsh Inc.

Sletteland received his undergraduate degree from Union College and a Masters in real estate development from Columbia University.

Sentinel was established in 1969 and is headquartered in New York City with 19 corporate offices around the country. The company owns and manages $4.5 billion in real estate on behalf of more than 60 domestic and foreign institutional clients.
