Deals Pick Up the Pace in Q2

Investment volume in the second quarter of 2018 rose to $114.2 billion, a 9.1 percent improvement over the previous quarter, according to Real Capital Analytics data.

Investment volume in the second quarter of 2018 rose to $114.2 billion as of June 30, 2018—a 9.1 percent improvement over the previous quarter, according to Real Capital Analytics data. Second-quarter investment activity was up in most major regions aside from the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, where volume dropped by 11.4 percent and 8.6 percent, respectively. The Western U.S. region registered the strongest activity at $32.2 billion, followed by the Southeast at $21.1 billion.
