Westrec Marinas Gets $10M Loan for Haulover Marine Center Development
Site work on a 508-rack marina storage has kicked off as developer Westrec Marinas acquired the necessary funds through Florida Community Bank. Holliday Fenoglio Fowler arranged the $10 million five-year, floating-rate construction loan on behalf of the borrower. The HFF team speaking for Westrec was led by managing director James Dockerty and senior real estate analyst Scott Wadler.

HFF has announced the closing on the sale of the 95,000-square-foot Southside at McEwen, a high-end trophy grocery store located in the Nashville MSA. The commercial real estate and capital markets services provider marketed the Whole Foods-anchored property on behalf of the seller, Amstar. The sales team was led by managing directors Jim Hamilton and Richard Reid and senior managing director Mark Sixour.

South Cathedral Mansions is a landmark apartment building located 2900 Connecticut Avenue, NW, in D.C.’s Woodley Park neighborhood. It was constructed in 1922 by the iconic team of Harry Wardman and Mihran Mesrobian and is currently included in both the National Register of Historic Places and the D.C. Inventory of Historic Sites. During its almost one hundred years of existence, South Cathedral Mansions only changed hands four times, the last sale taking place recently.

Atlanta-based Goddard Investment Group has added to its Texas holdings with the acquisition of Fountain Place, a 58-story trophy tower that is one of the tallest buildings in downtown Dallas.
TIAA-CREF Closes Second Deal with JBG This Month, Buying The Woodley
The JBG Companies and TIAA-CREF are doing business again. At the start of the month, JBG sold the The Louis at 14th/U, a residential and retail development located in the heart of the U Street Corridor-Logan Circle neighborhood, to the financial services firm. Now, the Chevy Chase-based company has closed the sale of The Woodley, a new residential development in Washington, D.C.’s desirable Woodley Park neighborhood. The price of the transaction was not disclosed. HFF arranged the sale between JBG and TIAA-CREF.
Holiday Inn Resort Lake Buena Vista Sold
ROCH Capital has recently acquired the Holiday Inn Resort Lake Buena Vista from Vista Hospitality Company. The new owners commissioned Portfolio Hotels to manage the asset.
