Abandoned Peanut Factory to Be Transformed into Residential Complex
Not far from San Antonio’s urban core sits an abandoned peanut factory; previously here was a peanut processing and storage warehouse facility. At the beginning of next year it will be transformed into Peanut Factory Lofts, a 90-unit apartment and townhome complex with the help of civil engineering firm Big Red Dog.
USAA Buys 262 KSF Office Building in San Antonio
USAA Real Estate has acquired One Riverwalk Place, an 18-story, multi-tenant office building located in the central business district of San Antonio, from Winthrop Realty, an affiliate of Apollo Real Estate Advisors.

The arranged sale of the 304-unit apartment complex located at 4031 Thousand Oaks Drive attracted the investment community of the area. Marcus and Millichap represented the seller, a 501c-3 nonprofit company, through Will Balthrope, senior vice president investments in Dallas, and Scott Lamontagne, vice president investments in Austin, both with Institutional Property Advisors, a division of the investment firm, and Zar Haro and Michael Moffitt, senior associates in Marcus & Millichap’s San Antonio and Austin offices, respectively.
CyrusOne Expands Data Center in San Antonio
CyrusOne, one of San Antonio’s global colocation solutions providers, has purchased a 22-acre property as expansion of its data center campus. The remaining space in its existing facility, the equivalent of 19,500 square feet, was leased for the next 5 years to one single customer, identified as a Fortune 50 customer.

The second phase of Sendero Ranch, Dilley, is completed and the community will open its gates on July 25th, announced developer Koontz McCombs. The residential development is located in the fast-growing area of Eagle Ford Shale oil and gas formation.
Brookwood Acquires Tech Ridge Business Park in San Antonio
The multi-tenant office property Tech Ridge Business Park has been acquired by Brookwood Financial Partners, LLC, a leading real estate company specialized in investment and asset management services. The new acquisition was built in 2002-2003 and is part of the Northwest submarket of San Antonio. It encompasses 118,769 square feet that form the two-building business park located between Loop 410 and Loop 1604, near Interstate 10.
Koontz McCombs Announces CityVista Development in San Antonio
