Rudin Management Names New CIO

Neil Gupta took up the executive role after working with the company for more than six years. He will now oversee investments, acquisitions and financial activities for the firm's New York City portfolio.

Rudin Management Co. appointed Neil Gupta to chief investment officer. In his new role, he will manage the company’s investments, acquisitions and financial activities, overseeing a 15 million-square-foot commercial and residential portfolio in New York City. Additionally, he will play a key role in the leadership of Rudin Ventures.

Gupta has been with the company since 2012, most recently serving as its senior vice president. Between 2004 and 2012, he was director of Deutsche Bank’s Real Estate Investment Banking Group, where he was involved in more than $16 billion worth of transactions for both U.S. and foreign companies. The recently appointed executive holds a BA in economics from the University of Chicago and an MBA in real estate and finance from the Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.

Over his first six years at Rudin, Neil has proven to be a key player on many of our most important initiatives, including the Greenwich Lane in Manhattan and Dock 72 at the Brooklyn Navy Yard,” Rudin Management Co. Co-Chairmen Bill and Eric Rudin said in a prepared statement.
